In August we got a buyer who was keen to take DAGNY over in September. He placed a reasonable binder and arranged for us to haul her out up the Saint Johns River in north Florida. For this, we had to remove her masts. Unfortunately, the buyer’s circumstances changed and he defaulted. So DAGNY is for sale again.
However, since we have her on ‘the hard’ so near home, we are taking the opportunity to replace the main engine. We have already taken out the old Detroit Diesel. Soon as we are finished, we will be advertising her again. For now, that’s the story!
